Louisiana Elections Defense Fund

Created 15 Nov, 2025

About this campaign

Our current goal is to raise $20,000 to continue the cases that are already underway. We are almost 1/2 way there. Long term, these funds will continue to be used to further assist enforcing the Louisiana Constitution, when public officials do not act in accordance with its provisions. The current effort is to ensure that Louisiana Voters have their votes counted publicly and kept inviolate according to LA Constitution Title 11, Section 2 which says “Ballots shall be counted publicly and preserved inviolate as provided by law until any election contests have been settled.” Since Louisiana voters do not have a ballot (they just push buttons on a computer voting machine), there is nothing counted publicly or kept in case it is needed for a recount or a simple audit.
